Todd County Central got off to a slow start in the second quarter and never recovered in a 55-28 loss at Kenwood, TN Friday.
Kenwood led 10-8 after the first eight minutes but outscored the Lady Rebels 18-7 in the second quarter to grab a 28-15 lead at halftime.
The Lady Knights took control of the game with a 20-4 third quarter run.
In a statistical oddity, ten different players scored the 28 points for Todd County led by Kinley Reding’s five points. Tatyana Peterson, Paige Rager, and Makayla Artis each scored four points.
Todd County (0-2) will try and pick up their first win of the season Saturday afternoon at Fulton City.
