The University Heights Academy girls’ basketball team picked up its first win of the season, running past the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons 69-7. The Lady Blazers stand at 1-1, while the Lady Falcons slip to 0-3.
Junior guard Alex Juckett led the Lady Blazers with 14 points, with sophomore guard Lilly Hendricks tossing in 13. Senior guard Anshanique Leavell scored 12 points, and Anna Fitzpatrick had 7. Junior forward Aisha Pantiere, junior forward Anna Moore, and sophomore center Mallory Rager chipped in 6 each.
For the Lady Falcons, junior forward Brianna Dugger had a nice night with 7 points, including a first-half 3 pointer. 8th Grader Jordan Wilson also had a basket.
UHA returns to the floor Tuesday, when they welcome the 2-2 Trigg County Lady Wildcats. Fort Campbell travels to Dawson Springs (0-3) on Thursday.
