Hopkinsville Handles Fort Campbell in Road Win (w/PHOTOS)

The early season struggles continued for the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons Friday night. In an 8th District matchup, the Lady Falcons fell at home to the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers 93-16.

The Lady Tigers blitzed Fort Campbell out of the gate and never looked back. Hopkinsville scored 46 points in the first quarter alone to jump out to a 43-4 lead. Hopkinsville would push the lead on out to 65-12 at the half.

Hopkinsville then got a number of younger players playing time in the second half. The Lady Tigers would lead 88-16 after three. Neither team did much offensively in the final quarter, as Hopkinsville outscored Fort Campbell 5-0 to finish the game.

Breon Oldham led Hopkinvsille with 20 points, all in the first half. London Foster added 17, while Yogi McKnight added 12. Both Foster and McKnight scored all of their points in the first quarter.

Fort Campbell was led by Jordan Wilson with 14. Fort Campbell’s 16 points was their highest total of the season to date.

Hopkinsville improves to 2-1 on the season, while Fort Campbell falls to 0-5.
