Caldwell County Rolls Past Fort Campbell for Second Straight Win

The Caldwell County Lady Tigers won their second game in a row Saturday afternoon by going on the road to dispatch Fort Campbell 80-10. The Lady Tigers jumped out to an 18 point first quarter lead and never looked back.

Behind a big effort from Jacey Jaggers, Caldwell County led 22-4 at the end of the first quarter. Jaggers led the way with six points in the period. The Lady Tigers kept the high powered offense flowing during the 2nd quarter. Caldwell County outscored Fort Campbell 23-4 to lead at the half 45-8.

The Lady Tiger defense limited Fort Campbell to just two points in the third quarter, as Caldwell County pushed the lead out to 56-10. Caldwell County was able to get some younger players significant playing time in the 4th quarter, where Caldwell County outscored the Lady Falcons 24-0 to close out the game.

Caldwell County was led on the afternoon by Lucy Goffinet with 18 points. Morgan McDaniels chipped in with 12, while Majah Hollowell added 11.

Fort Campbell was led by Brianna Dugger with 6, and Jordan Wilson with 4.

Caldwell County gets back to action Monday night when they host Livingston Central. Fort Campbell falls to 0-6, and will look for their first win of the season when they host South Haven Christian Monday.
