The Christian County boys’ basketball team boasts the state’s leading scorer in senior Detorrion Ware, but with Ware out with a sprained ankle, the rest of the Colonels stepped up to win 66-60 over the Todd County Central Rebels on Saturday. The win gave the Colonels the championship in the Baptist Health and Sports Rehab Holiday Classic, and gave them confidence should they ever find themselves without Ware’s services later in the season.
