
Trigg County looks to bounce back from a fifth place finish at their own KME Classic as they play in two games at the Stewart County Christmas Classic in Dover starting Thursday.
The Wildcats (5-4) will play their third and fourth consecutive Tennessee schools in the event. Thursday at noon, they will play Cheatham County for the first time in school history. The Cubs are 2-6 but own a 60-56 win over Clarksville Northwest, who beat Fort Campbell, who in turn beat Trigg County.
Trigg will play Creek Wood of Charlotte, TN Friday at 4:30. The Red Hawks are 5-5 and own a 76-35 win over Cheatham County in the season opener.
Another Kentucky school, Crittenden County, is also playing in the event. They are playing Stewart County Thursday and Cheatham County Friday.
