The Livingston Central Lady Cardinals are a step closed to the All A State Tournament. The Lady Cardinals advanced to the girls 2nd Region All A semifinals with a 60-9 win over Fort Campbell Friday night down on post.
The Lady Cardinals held Fort Campbell to just a free throw in the first quarter, on their way to a 21-1 lead. The Livingston Central defense then held the Lady Falcons scoreless in the second quarter, while extending the lead to 32-1 at the half.
Livingston Central continued to roll along in the 3rd quarter, outscoring Fort Campbell 12-4 to push the lead out to 44-5. The Lady Cardinals did not let up off the gas during the 4th quarter, as Tabby Padon tossed in ten points in the final quarter, helping Livingston Central outscore the Lady Falcons 16-4 to reach the final 51 points margin.
Jordan Wilson scored six points for Fort Campbell, while Brianna Dugger added three. Tabby Padon led the way for Livingston Central, with 33 points in the contest. Lauren Wring was the only other Lady Cardinal in double figures with 12.
Livingston Central advances to Saturday night’s regional semifinal to take on Lyon County.
