Heritage Christian Academy remained unbeaten in KCAA play with a 42-29 win at Highlands Latin in Louisville Saturday.
Chelsea Dortch scored seven of her game-high 17 points in the second quarter as HCA built a 19-13 lead at intermission. The Lady Warriors hit 6-of-11 free throws in the final quarter to keep Highlands at bay, outscoring them 12-6.
Rachel West added 14 points and five steals, while Hope Flournoy had nine points and 15 rebounds for HCA, who improved to 6-0 in conference play.
Grace Burnett had 10 points for No. 2 Highlands, whose only two losses in conference play have come at the hands of HCA.
Top-ranked Heritage Christian (13-3) will travel to No. 3 Oak Ridge Friday in a key regional matchup.
