Trigg County eighth grader Josh Ingram posted the top score Saturday at Graves County.
Trigg County warmed up for next week’s Region I Archery Tournament by winning the Graves County Classic Saturday in Mayfield.
Trigg County took first place with 3,354 points, 34 more than second place Webster County. Murray was third and Marshall County was fourth.
Kaylin Smith was the top shooter for the high school, scoring 288 which was good for second place. Audrey Smith shot a 287 to finish third, while Kierslyn Thomas shot a 272 to finish 23rd.
Garret Knight led the guys with a score of 287, good for eighth place. Jevan Hamby shot a 284 to finish 15th, and Cole Joyce shot a 282 to finish 17th.
Eighth grader Josh Ingram had the high score of the day, taking first place in all divisions with a score of 293. Sam Smith was fourth in the middle school with a score of 285.
Lilly P’Pool was the top female shooter for Trigg County with a score of 273.
Graves County won the middle school division with 3,312 points. Trigg County was second with 3,278 points.
Saturday’s Region I Archery Tournament will be held at Marshall County High School.
