A Murray State athlete has been recognized for her accomplishments on the pitch. Harriet Withers of the Murray State Soccer women’s soccer team had her jersey retired last Saturday, as she joins Scottie Ingram as the only non-Football/Basketball player to have their number retired in Racer history.

An accomplished forward for the Racers the last four years, Withers has seen the program grown exponentially since being recruited from Murwillumbah, Australia.

Ending her career, Withers stands as the all-time career leader in Points (89), Goals (37), and Game-Winning-Goals (13). Withers is also a three-time All-OVC award winner and has seen three straight regular season championships and two NCAA appearances .
