Todd County Central shook off a slow start and scored 66 in the final three quarters to blitz Warren Central 71-44 Tuesday in Elkton. The Lady Rebels have won four of six games since the All-A Classic region tourney last month.
Warren Central jumped out to a 16-5 lead in the first quarter before the Lady Rebels were able to right the ship. Todd used a 21-8 second quarter run to take a 26-24 lead at halftime.
Amy Brumfield scored eight of her team-high 20 points in the third quarter as Todd County outscored the Lady Dragons 21-13. A 24-7 fourth quarter run sealed the win for the Lady Rebels.
Tatyana Peterson and Michaela Robertson joined Brumfield in double figures with 12 points each, while Makayla Artis scored nine. 11 players reached the scoring column for the Lady Rebels, who improved to 10-12 with the win.
Seventh grader Saniyah Shelton led Warren Central (3-23) with 22 points.
Todd County will travel to 13th District rival Russellville Friday.
