On Monday, Christian County senior quarterback Kolbe Langhi committed to the University of Kentucky as a preferred walk on. Langhi is the Colonels’ all-time leading passer with 9,002 yards, and he accounted for 101 touchdowns. As a senior, Langhi led the Colonels to the school’s first-ever unbeaten regular season.
A preferred walk-on means Langhi is assured a spot on the team, although the school isn’t offering an athletic scholarship.
After the Colonel basketball team’s 85-46 win over Fort Campbell in the 8th District semifinals, Langhi spoke about what led him to choose the Wildcats.
