HCA Win Gives Them Momentum Ahead of Region (w/PHOTOS)

Heritage Christian Academy continued their strong play down the stretch with a 66-38 win over Franklin Road Christian School Tuesday at Warrior Gym.

Dalton Folz scored 25 points in the first three quarters, and Rajah Mills added 13 points as the Warriors led 17-4 after one quarter and 34-12 at halftime.

Austin Crawford joined Folz and Mills in double figures with 10 points as the Warriors put the game away with a 23-11 third quarter run. Kam Cunningham, the lone senior on the squad, had five points.

Hayden Lancaster led Franklin Road with 15 points.

Heritage Christian heads into the KCAA postseason with a 12-15 record. The Warriors will play Bethel Friday in the First Region semifinals at Glasgow Christian High School. Bethel beat HCA 64-53 on Jan. 19 and 64-56 on Feb. 9. If HCA wins, they will play top seed Oak Ridge for the region title Saturday at 4:30.
