The Lyon County boys’ basketball team (8-18) were drawn against the Henderson County Colonels (14-13) in their opening game of the 2nd Region tournament at Henderson County on Wednesday. The two teams did not play in the regular season. Henderson enters the tournament as the 6th District champion, after beating Union County in the final, while the Lyons fell to Crittenden in the 5th District championship. Should the Lyons get past the Colonels, they would face the winner of Christian County (20-7) and Madisonville-North Hopkins (21-9) on Saturday.
