The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers softball team is coming off a difficult 2017 in which they finished 3-21, falling to University Heights in the first round of the 8th District tournament.  Coach Anthony Holloway has moved on after six seasons at the helm for the Lady Tigers, and Coach Tara Toliver returns for her second stint in charge of the program.

After having no seniors on the roster last season, returning starters SS Shelby Harbour and OF Makenzie Carter will look to provide senior leadership for the Lady Tigers.  Junior utility players Nadia Clayton and Sabrina Hodge return as well, in addition to sophomores Marley Hancock (UTIL), Lauren Hodge (1B/LHP), Taiya Straight (3B/OF), and 8th grade C/RHP Morgan Hodge.

Hopkinsville will open the season March 19 when they host the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons.
