Coach Jason Collins enters his first season in charge of the Lyon County softball program, taking over after three seasons at the helm for Monty Todd. Collins inherits a team coming off a 22-12 season, that included the team’s second-consecutive 5th District championship. Collins discusses his young squad, and highlights the strengths of his group, including standout senior pitcher Sophie Bingham.
