Anshanique Leavell
Girls basketball players from University Heights Academy and Heritage Christian Academy have been recognized for their accomplishments on the court this season. The National Athletic Association of Private Schools released its All-Region Awards Tuesday morning for girls basketball. Those recognized from UHA and HCA were:
Anshanique Leavell (UHA)- All-Region
Chelsea Dortch (HCA): All-Region Honorable Mention
Hope Flournoy (HCA): All-Region, Kentucky Defensive Player of the Year Finalist
Rachel West (HCA): All-Region, Kentucky Player of the Year Finalist
All players who receive All-Region are finalist for All-American which is divided into school size.
