Pleasant View scored in every inning and went on to beat Heritage Christian Academy 19-9 Thursday in Tennessee.
Pleasant View used 12 hits and 10 walks to do their damage at the plate.
Kaelyn Kaetzel had two hits and an RBI for HCA, and Kinley Deason two of the Lady Warriors’ nine hits. Nicole Holland added a single and double, and Madison Powell also doubled.
HCA (3-3) will open KCAA play Tuesday at North Hardin Christian in a rematch of last year’s state championship game won by the Lady Falcons.
