Warren Central took advantage of Todd County Cenral errors to pick up a win Monday evening in Elkton. The Dragons used big innings in the 2nd and the 3rd to cruise to the 13-0 victory.
Taking advantage of three walks and two Rebel errors, Warren Central erupted for six runs in the top of the 2nd inning. The Dragons scored the first two runs of the inning without the aid of a base hit. The big hit of the inning was a two run single by Warren Central’s Peyton Eversole.
The Dragons came back in the top of the 3rd inning with five more runs to push their lead to 11-0. The Rebels again helped out Warren Central, this time with two walks, a hit batter, and two errors. Josh Hurt helped out the cause with a two run single.
Warren Central capped off the scoring for the game with two more runs in the top of the 5th inning. One of the runs was driven in on an RBI single from Hurt.
Bryce Nolan led the Rebel effort, going 2-3 on the game. Jameson Hunt and Tanner Farmer were each 1-2 in the game.
Warren Central ended the game with 13 runs on 10 hits with one error. Todd County Central had no runs on four hits, with six errors in the game.
