Caldwell County, like other softball teams in western Kentucky, has had to dodge the raindrops in order to get games in so far in the early season. Caldwell opened their season with a 4-2 loss at Webster County March 22. They have lost five games due to bad weather, and that means a lot of indoor practices. Jaimee Burke, the lone senior on Caldwell County’s roster, is ready to see the field in consecutive days for the first time this year.
