Caldwell County has high hopes on the softball diamond in 2018. The only problem is, the weather is cooperating. The Lady Tigers have seen five of their games in the first two weeks of the season canceled due to rain. That has meant more practice time in the gym than they would want this far into to the season. Coach Lori Young feels like her team can be a top five team in the region once they hit the field for an extended period of time.
