Christian County two-way football player JaQuon Long has committed to continue his football career at North Dakota University. Long made the announcement on social media Wednesday.
Long was the leading receiver for the Colonels, who had the school’s first unbeaten regular season in 2017. He caught 43 passes for 756 yards and eight touchdowns.
As a junior, Long caught 40 passes for 652 yards and seven touchdowns. On defense, he picked off five passes and returned one of those for a touchdown as a defensive back.
North Dakota is an NCAA Division I school in Grand Forks, ND that competes in the Big Sky Conference. They won a Division II national title in 2001 before moving up to Division I.
