Todd County Archers Finish Strong at State Meet

Todd County Central shot a 3,194 to finish 78th at the NASP State Archery Tournament in Louisville Saturday.

Junior Aidan Perell led the Rebel archers with a score of 287 to finish 53rd out of 1,154 in the field. Evan Wells shot a 279 to finish 208th, followed by Hunter Johnson (500th) and Dakota Foster (777th).

Hailey Neyens led the females, shooting a 277 to finish 195th. Emily Oliver shot a 276 to finish 203rd, and Katie Baker was 336th with a score of 271.

Madison Central shot a 3,438 to repeat as state champion. Bullitt Central (3,429) was second followed by Muhlenberg County (3,409) and Henderson County (3,408).

Lane Gibson was the top shooter for Todd County Middle School with a score of 280 to finish 70th in the male division. Lynnlee Jones shot a 277 to finish 106th in the female division.
