Fort Campbell 8th grade LHP Ryan Sawyer showed no fear in a loss to the Hopkinsville Tigers Wednesday night, battling for 5.1 innings on the mound and collecting two hits and an RBI at the plate. Sawyer felt the Falcons showed character in bouncing back from a lopsided loss in the first game of the doubleheader, and doesn’t let his team’s history or the particular opponent affect his approach.
