Lady Rebels Fall in Five Innings to Logan County

The Todd County Central softball team saw a two-game win streak snapped with a 10-0 loss to visiting Logan County on Tuesday.  The Lady Rebels slip to .500 at 3-3, while Logan County improves to 5-2 on the year.

Logan County put up 2 runs in the opening inning, 5 in the third, and 3 in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.  8th grader Samantha Case took the loss, while sophomore Whitney Higgins and junior Paige Rager had the only two hits for the Lady Rebels.  Sophomore Sydney Lee pitched all 5.0 innings for the Lady Cougars to earn the win, striking-out four and only allowing two hits.  Lee and junior Rosie Kerchenski both had 3 RBI to lead Logan County.

The Lady Rebels welcome the 3-7 Hopkinsville Lady Tigers to Elkton on Thursday.
