Trigg County’s Hannah Colbert celebrated her 17th birthday Tuesday by pitching a three-inning perfect game with eight strikeouts as the Lady Wildcats beat Fort Campbell 17-0.

Autumn Durham doubled and tripled as part of a three-hit, six-RBI game, helping Trigg score 12 runs in the first inning.

Ashlyn Keller, Julia Rhone, and Kara Southwood each had a hit and two RBIs for the Lady Wildcats, who had 12 hits in the contest.

Of the 33 pitches thrown by Colbert in her three innings of work, 29 were for strikes.

In the nightcap, it was Kara Southwood’s turn to no-hit the Lady Falcons. The freshman struck out five and didn’t walk anyone as the Lady Wildcats won 23-0. She also added three hits and an RBI at the plate.

Trigg scored 11 times in the first inning and nine more in the second to take early control of the contest.

Jesse Siegmund had two hits, including a triple, and three RBIs. Alyssa Southwood also had a triple and three RBIs, and Kara Hyde had a hit and two runs knocked in.

Trigg County has now won 12 straight games against Fort Campbell dating back to 2009. The 23 runs scored in the nightcap are the second-most by a Lady Wildcat fast-pitch team and the most since a 25-15 win over Providence in 2001.

Trigg County (8-6) travels to Livingston Central Thursday as they look to remain unbeaten in district play.

Fort Campbell (1-13) travels to Russellville Thursday.
