While the official signing ceremony is set for Thursday, a member of the Hopkinsville Tigers officially announced Wednesday he would be continuing his basketball career at Murray State University. In a post on his Twitter account, Hopkinsville senior Jaylen Johnson stated he would be signing with the Racers.
In the social media post, Johnson thanked his family, friends, coaches, and the coaches involved in his recruitment.
The official signing ceremony is set for Thursday afternoon at 2:45 in the gym at Hopkinsville High School.
