The Christian County Lady Colonels have moved into the top three in the state in the latest Kentucky Preps Softball Top 25. The rankings, which were released Sunday, have the Lady Colonels at #3, just behind Scott County and East Carter. Christian County moves up two spots from the previous week.
Madisonville, who was #3 last week, trades places with the Lady Colonels and falls to #5 in this week’s poll.
Other western Kentucky teams in this weeks poll include McCracken County at #6, Apollo at #8, Marshall County at #13, Owensboro Catholic at #19, and Daviess County at #20.
The Caldwell County Lady Tigers nearly cracked the Top 25 this week. With the points they received in the voting, the Lady Tigers actually came in at #28, one slot ahead of Webster County. Logan County was also in the receiving votes category this week.
