After falling behind 3-0 in the first half, the Heritage Christian Academy girls’ soccer team scored 2 second-half goals, but couldn’t climb all the way back and lost 5-2 to visiting Somerset Christian.

After an opening 40 minutes that saw the Lady Warriors struggle to contain Somerset Christian’s speed, HCA was able to slow down the Cougars and mount its own attack in the second half.  Freshman Abbi Bullock scored the first goal for the Lady Warriors, followed by a header goal from junior Kaylee Wadlington off an HCA corner kick.  However, the Cougars were able to add two of their own on the way to the 5-2 win.
