Christian County High School will be looking for a new tennis coach once the current season comes to an end. Prior to the three way match with UHA and Webster County Monday afternoon at Ruff Park, Christian County tennis coach Dale Adkins told YourSportsEdge that he would not be returning next season to lead the program.
Adkins told YourSportsEdge that he had been notified by school officials that his teaching contract would not be renewed for the 2018-2019 school year.
Adkins is concluding his 4th year at the helm of the Colonels and Lady Colonels tennis programs. He started in the position with four tennis players on the teams, and leaves the program with 20 players currently finishing out the season.
