Keaton Bridges homered and pitched five strong innings to lead Lyon County past district rival Crittenden County 12-4 in baseball action Tuesday in Eddyville.
The junior’s home run was part of a six-run fourth inning that put the Lyons up 12-3. Bridges also pitched five innings and struck out six Rockets in getting the pitching win.
Gabe Board also homered for Lyon County, who banged out 11 hits and drew six walks in the game. Gunnar Bingham had two hits, and Travis Yancy had two hits and three RBIs.
Gabe Mott had three hits for Crittenden County (5-14), who finishes district play winless and will be the No. 4 seed in the Fifth District Tournament later this month in Marion.
Lyon County evens their record at 7-7 and 2-3 in district play. The Lyons host Union County Thursday in a doubleheader.
