Paige Kramer doubled home Lilli Zimmerman in the fifth inning for the only run of the game in Calloway County’s 1-0 win over Trigg County Tuesday. The Lady Wildcats were shut out for a second consecutive game.
Trigg County managed just three singles in the contest by Hannah Colbert, Madison Simpson, and Adri Phillips.
Calloway County (6-8) also managed just three hits off Colbert, who struck out 12 and walked just one.
Trigg County’s last 1-0 game was a loss to Lyon County last year, and they fall to 2-3 all-time in 1-0 games.
The Lady Wildcats (14-9) play at Lyon County Thursday.
