Mashea Glover homered to back the pitching of Katie Franklin as Caldwell County snapped a four-game losing streak with a 7-0 win over Paducah Tilghman Friday in Princeton.
Franklin, who pitched a one-hitter and lost to Marshall County Thursday, allowed three Tilghman singles and struck out 10 while walking none.
Glover had two hits, including her eighth home run of the season, and scored three runs.
Madi Choate had a two-run single in the first inning as part of a three-hit night. Haley Stiles and J’Aimee Burke each had two hits for the Lady Tigers (10-7), who will host McLean County Monday.
