Teams from Logan County swept the top two spots Saturday at the Christian County Bassin’ Colonels Classic on Lake Barkley.
Noah Morgan and Jacob Whitmore had the top weight at 8.85 pounds, while Kolton Coomer and Thomas Lockhart was second with 7.05 pounds. Garrett Hicks and Davis Smith of Marshall County was third 6.15 pounds.
A team from Henderson County was originally declared the winner but was later disqualified by their coach for a violation of non-tournament rules.
Chance Glass and Emily Lee of Christian County caught the big bass of the day at 5.40 pounds.
Other finishers for Christian County were Ty Blanford and Trace Roland (3.95 pounds), Tyler Mosley and Kenton Lancaster (3.10 pounds) and Kendall Miller and Tyler Harrison (2.75 pounds).
Christian County also recognized their three seniors – Brandon Boyd, Harley Schamp, and Kyle Killebrew.
