University Heights’ doubles pairing of Brady Bilyeu and Dylan Edmonson will play for the boys doubles regional championship Wednesday. The two sophomores advanced to the title match by rallying to defeat the Hopkinsville pairing of Morgan Demps and Noah Morris, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).
Bilyeu and Edmonson will face the #1 seed in the region, Tanner Ray and Kyle Hart, of Madisonville. Ray and Hart advanced with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Hopkins Central’s Cobie Pyle and Jarred Crone.
The championship match will be Wednesday evening at 5:00 in Henderson.
