Carter Boyd fits the definition of a well-rounded athlete to a ‘T’ — a Trigg County T. The senior has served as a captain on the Trigg County soccer team and rebounded from a fall injury to give track and field a try in the spring.
In the classroom, Carter was a 2017 Governor’s Scholar and ranks near the top of his class. He will be taking his score of 33 on the ACT to the University of Kentucky to study engineering.
Carter talks about the switch from soccer to track and whether there is a future in coaching in store for him.
