Todd County Central qualified their girls’ 400-meter relay team for the state track and field championships in Lexington after their time was one of the best in the state at the Class 1A Region 2 Meet at Green County.
As a team, Todd County Central’s girls finished in 11th place with six points, while the guys finished 13th with two points.
GIRLS
Tatyana Peterson finished fourth in the 100-meter dash in (13.67)
Gracie Silvia was ninth in the 800-meter run (2:48.39) and 10th in the 400-meter run (1:08.77)
Emily Silvia finished eighth in the 300-meter hurdles and 11th in the 100-meter hurdles (21.80)
Jenna Raulerson was 12th in the 800-meter run (3:06.76) and 13th in the 1600-meter run (7:27.61)
Jasmine Mimms was 13th in the 100-yard dash (14.17)
Peterson also finished 13th in the 200-meter dash (31.16)
Skylar Peyton was 10th in the 300-meter hurdles (1:07.60) and 14th in the 100-meter hurdles (24.67)
Danielle Willis was 12 in the discus throw (65-07) and 16th in the shot put (21-08)
Madalyn Simons was 17th in the shot put (20-10) and 18th in the discus throw (47-01)
Jasmina Shemwell finished 17th in the 200-meter dash (31.80)
The 400-meter relay team finished fifth (55.15)
The 800-meter relay team finished in 10th place (2:12.02)
The 1600-meter relay team finished eighth (5:22.10)

Clarence Lancaster was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (47.70), 11th in the 400-meter dash (58.13) and 15th in the 1600-meter run (5:36.55)
Orrin Scott was 15th in the 100-meter dash (12.42) and 16th in the 200-meter dash (26.18)
Luke Jordan was 16th in the 400-meter dash (59.86)
Timothy Kline was 16th in the 800-meter run (2:33.16) and 17th in the 1600-meter run (5:55.41)
Thomas Avans was 18th in the 100-meter dash (13.44) and 20th in the 200-meter dash (28.28)
Anthony Cabrera was ninth in the 110-meter hurdles (21.50), 10th in the 300-meter hurdles (51.68), and 18th in the 800-meter run (2:38.96)
JoVaughn Peterson was ninth in the discus throw (103-09) and 19th in the shot put (31-00)
Austin Huff was 17th in the discus throw (77-05) and 26th in the shot put (26-00.50)
