University Heights Academy’s Naliscya Hall qualified in the shot put for this weekend’s state meet in Lexington with a throw of 31-05.25, good enough for second in Saturday’s Class A Region 1 Championship at Murray High. Afterward, Hall felt her performance was a reward for the hard work it took to get there, and says she’s still looking for improvement at state.
