The Lyon County baseball team failed to collect a hit Thursday night at McCracken County, falling 10-0 in five innings. The Lyons lose their second-straight to slip to 11-12 overall, while the Mustangs improve to 26-8.
The Mustangs scored 5 runs in each of the third and fifth innings, while starter Dylan Schneider kept the Lyons off the base paths with the exception of a single walk. Schneider struck-out four, also going 3-3 at the plate with 2 RBI.
Dylan Capello took the loss, lasting 2.2 innings while allowing 5 runs, 1 earned, on six hits with three walks. Trey Hawkins pitched 1.1 innings, yielding 4 runs, 3 earned, on three hits.
The Lyons wrap up the regular season on Friday, going on the road to face the 7-16 Murray High Tigers.
