Todd County Central beat Franklin-Simpson in a pair of close games during the regular season, but it was the Lady Cats who got revenge Monday with a 9-5 win in the 13th District softball semifinals in Franklin.
After falling behind 5-0, Todd County Central scored four runs in the sixth inning to pull to within 5-4. However, Franklin-Simpson added four runs to put the game away and clinch the win.
Emma Harris had two singles, a double, and two RBIs for the Lady Rebels, who also got a two-run double from Rachel Bilyeu. Samantha Case also had a double for Todd County.
Danielle Coats and Gracie Arnemann each had a single and three RBIs for Franklin-Simpson (15-22), who will play Logan County for the 13th District title Tuesday.
Todd County Central’s season ends with a record of 9-12.
