Christian County baseball coach Trey Wheeler led the Colonels to their fourth-straight 8th District championship with a 6-2 win over Hopkinsville on Tuesday night. As soon as the game was over, Wheeler and the Colonels turned their thoughts to next week’s 2nd Region tournament, which they are scheduled to host. Wheeler spoke about the win over Hoptown, the performance of pitcher Wyatt Stevenson, and the Colonels’ approach to the regional tourney.
