University Heights Academy senior Alli Cundiff has capped off her high school track and field career by being named First Team All-State in Class A by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association in both the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.
Cundiff won the 300-meter hurdles, becoming the first Lady Blazer in school history to win an event at the state track meet. She was also named Second Team All-State in the 100-meter hurdles, in which she finished second, and third in the 100-meter dash.
Muki Kunnmann, who finished second in the 3200-meter run, joined Cundiff on the All-State First Team.
Evelyn Morales, who finished fourth in the high jump, and UHA’s 1600-meter relay team were also named Second Team All-State. Members of the relay team that ran at state were Cundiff, Morales, Kate Cansler, and Lily Hendricks.
