Lyon County’s softball season came to an end in the semifinals of the Fifth District Tournament with a 2-1 loss to Crittenden County, ending a run of seven straight trips to the region tournament. Coach Jason Collins says Lyon needed a few more well-timed hits to keep that streak alive and feels like the Lyon-Crittenden rivalry will get stronger in the years ahead.
