After a disappointing loss to Crittenden County in the 5th District championship game, the Trigg County softball team found out things won’t get any easier at the 2nd Region tournament with a first-round match-up against Christian County. After the draw Friday morning at Madisonville-North Hopkins, Trigg coach Toree McMain said the Lady Wildcats would need a strong offensive performance to beat the Lady Colonels and feels her team is ready to bounce back and make a statement.
