Christian County two-way star Lexie O’Daniel has committed to play softball at Western Kentucky University. O’Daniel announced her decision on Twitter Thursday.
O’Daniel hit .392 with 13 home runs and 46 RBIs in helping lead the Lady Colonels to 37 wins and their first region title in six years
In the circle, she was 15-2 with a 2.03 ERA and 132 strikeouts in 96 innings.
O’Daniel was named First Team All-State by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
Western Kentucky finished 28-26 last year and advanced to the second round of the Conference USA Tournament.
