While he did not win it, Saturday saw a strong performance for Caldwell County quarterback Joby Jaggers at the Bluegrass Quarterback Challenge. The event is hosted by Christian Academy of Louisville Coach, and former U of L quarterback Stefan LeFors.
Ten of the state’s top high school quarterbacks are invited to the afternoon competition, which give them a chance to showcase their skills against some of the other top signal callers in the Bluegrass.
Jaggers finished 2nd in this year’s competition. The winner was Boyle County’s Reed Lanter. Louisville Moore QB Rae Von Vaden finished 3rd.
Hopkinsville’s Jay Bland also participated in this year’s Bluegrass Quarterback Challenge.
