Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds finished second in his age division at the Kentucky Junior PGA stop at Kentucky Dam Village State Park Monday.

Reynolds, a freshman, shot an 85, which was good for second place but was 12 shots behind the winner Rocco Zakutney of Paducah.  Reynolds’ round featured a birdie on the first hole and six consecutive pars.

Lyon County eighth grader Hayden Engler finished in second place in the Boys 13-18 9-Hole Division with a score of 45.  He lost in a one-hole playoff with Benton’s Preston Futrell.  Engler’s “caddie” for the day was former Lyon County state champion and his cousin, Cullan Brown.

Lyon County eighth grader Cathryn Brown finished fourth in the Girls 13-15 Division with a score of 90 in a closely contested division.  Murray’s Mary Browder Howell won at 6-over.  Claire Whitaker was second with an 87, Abigale Bahnick was third with an 88, and Brown was fourth with a 90.
