The search is now underway for a new girls basketball coach at Marshall County High School. Athletic department officials announced Tuesday that Martin Clapp had resigned after only one season at the school.

During the 2017-2018 season, Clapp compiled a record of 15-14. The Lady Marshals lost in the opening round of the 4th District tournament to Calloway County.

Officials at Marshall County say the search for a new coach will get underway immediately. The announcement comes on the 3rd day of the KHSAA mandated “dead period” for high school sports.
