Tyler Graham knew when he was little that he wanted to play baseball. When he homered against cross-town rival Christian County as an eighth grader, people knew he had arrived.
Graham, the former Hopkinsville High standout and Union College infielder, has served in a utility role for the Hoptown Hoppers this summer – his second with the summer wooden bat league team. Because he plays for his hometown team, Graham also serves as the team’s ambassador of sorts, giving advice to the Hopper players on what to do, where to eat, or where to go during the two-month season.
Graham will be a junior at Union College in Barbourville and looks to help them qualify for the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament again in 2019.
