Jake Scheidler of Caldwell County finished 78th in the category of tie down roping at the National High School Finals Rodeo that concluded Saturday in Rock Spring, Wyoming.
Scheidler’s best finish in an individual round was a sixth place finish in the Saturday morning round in a time of 13.22 seconds.
His finish comes a week after he just missed the top 15 in calf roping at the International Finals Youth Rodeo in Oklahoma.
